1987 - 2022, 35 years of Erina Fair
On August 24, 1987 Central Coast Fair opened its doors as the largest single level shopping centre in the Southern Hemisphere - and since then has changed and grown to be what we know now, Erina Fair.
Central Coast Fair provided the Coast with 95 specialty stores, and brought a whopping 51,000 people here on opening day.
In 1994, the $85 million stage two development included The Boardwalk, a new eatery and carpark extensions. Our bulky-goods retail precinct was added in 1995 and in 1996 the cinema complex opened near the site of the old drive-in which had been running since 1958.
One of the biggest changes happened in 2003, with the creation of The Corner and the Atrium. These included major retailers including Coles and other specialty retailers.
Fast forward to 2022 and we are in the process of big and exciting changes here at Erina Fair. With over 330 retailers, we look forward to serving the Coast for another 35 years and beyond.
